Pride Of Le Havre – Olau Hollandica Pack sold by Tony 92
Built by Schichau Seebeckwerft in Bremerhaven, West Germany, and delivered in 1989, the 161-metre ro-pax ferry was originally operated by Olau Line on the Sheerness–Vlissingen route. She was designed to carry both passengers and vehicles, with accommodation for around 1,600 passengers and capacity for up to 575 cars.
In 1994, Olau Hollandia was renamed Pride of Le Havre and entered service with P&O Ferries, primarily on routes between Portsmouth and France. She remained in the P&O fleet for more than a decade before being sold to SNAV in 2005 and renamed SNAV Sardegna. In 2017, she became GNV Cristal.
The ship was powered by four Zgoda-Sulzer diesel engines, producing roughly 19,600 kW in total, with twin propellers and a service speed of around 19–21 knots, depending on the source and configuration. Her 33,336 GT and substantial vehicle deck made her a capable workhorse for both passenger and freight traffic.
With her distinctive late-1980s ferry design and long history under several well-known names, Olau Hollandia / Pride of Le Havre is a great addition to any virtual fleet.
This simulation model is sold by Tony 92 and is made for enthusiasts looking to recreate one of the memorable ferries of the North Sea and English Channel. Check the pack out.
