The story of the creation of this model is described by the creator in an interesting “Artists Spotlight” interview for SketchFab. The ship itself appears in the extensive porfolio as one of the proofs of the artist’s ability and diligence. With all the more appreciation I bought it. Unfortunately, it is not a model to feel the viral fun of fishing. There is no animation of any kind. This is all the more strange because the not much more expensive “Horizon Arctic” package has plenty of them. The unfolded trawls pull only two short lines of what looks more like fishing rods. It would have been enough to add a submerged trawl-shaped vehicle putting up gradual resistance, e.g. with time or distance, and the fun would have been excellent ( see Rakom – Pelagic nets ). The minesweeper’s lighting is incomprehensibly on all the time and the quality of the light is more leds than nautical lamps. Interestingly, at night they do not illuminate anything. The trawler is lovely and floats – that’s why two stars.

Deserves more than 2 stars. This model may be of age but it is an incredible work of art, especially the texturework.
